Terms of Use
1. Personal tracking, not medical advice
Glyka is designed for personal tracking and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Glyka is not a medical device: it does not measure blood sugar; it stores and summarises the values you enter or import. Target ranges, estimated A1C, trend summaries and critical-value warnings are informational, based on the guideline you selected and on the data you entered, and may be wrong if the data is wrong. Always make treatment decisions with your clinician, and in an emergency contact your local emergency service.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Glyka on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app except where the law allows.
3. Glyka Premium subscription
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store: a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial, or a monthly plan without trial. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions); deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy. Restoring a purchase on a new device is done with “Restore purchases” in the app.
- Premium features (long-term trends, PDF reports, estimated A1C, analysis by context, iCloud sync, chart widgets, alternate icons) may change over time; logging and the free features listed on the App Store remain free.
4. Acceptable use
Use Glyka only for its intended purpose and in accordance with the law. Do not use it to monitor someone else without their knowledge, do not attempt to circumvent purchases, and do not misrepresent its output as a medical measurement.
5. Your data
Your data belongs to you and stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for backups (CSV export, iCloud sync if enabled, device backups) and for keeping your device secure.
6. Liability
Glyka is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the app's output, for loss of data, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is at https://glyka.appidiso.com/terms.html and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [yargı yeri], without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
